Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Afsanora handles information in Pathora, our arrow puzzle game, and on this website.
It covers the current Android release of Pathora (version 1.0.0, package com.afsanora.pathora) and this informational website. For privacy questions, contact pathora@afsanora.com.
The short version
The current game has no account system, advertising or enabled gameplay analytics. Progress is stored locally. If you email us, we receive what you choose to send. Visiting this website also involves the normal technical processing needed to deliver a website.
1. Information stored by the game
Pathora stores game information on your device so that its features work and you can continue playing. This includes:
- Your completed stages and unfinished campaign stage.
- Your saved Free Play puzzle, remaining arrows, hearts, elapsed play time, hints and zoom position.
- Daily puzzle completion dates and locally cached puzzle information.
- Preferences such as sound effects, vibration, reduced motion and puzzle size or difficulty.
Afsanora does not receive these local saves through the current game. Campaign, Free Play and daily puzzles are generated or loaded locally; the current release does not download daily puzzles from an Afsanora server.
2. Accounts, analytics, advertising and permissions
The current release does not require a Pathora account and does not integrate advertising, Google Analytics for Firebase, or enabled Unity Analytics or cloud crash reporting. We do not collect gameplay events or advertising identifiers through the game.
The game does not request access to your contacts, precise location, microphone, camera or personal photo library. It uses the Android vibration capability for optional feedback. The package includes internet permission, but permission alone does not mean your local game progress is transmitted to us.
3. If you contact us
When you email pathora@afsanora.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you include. We use that information to answer your request, investigate issues and provide support. Our email provider processes messages to deliver this service. Please do not send passwords or other sensitive information.
We keep support correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the request, related follow-up and any applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request deletion of your correspondence.
4. This website and hosting
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Delivering and securing the website may involve GitHub and its service providers processing technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time. Its processing and retention are described in GitHub’s Privacy Statement.
We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, contact forms or marketing cookies to this website. The site’s images, styles and fonts do not require external advertising or analytics services. Clicking an external link or sending an email takes you to a service governed by its own privacy practices.
5. Google Play and device services
If you install Pathora through Google Play, Google may process store, installation, device and diagnostic information under its own settings and policies. Afsanora may receive aggregated store statistics and technical quality reports through Play Console. This is separate from collecting gameplay analytics inside Pathora. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
Your operating system may back up or restore app data according to your device and account settings. Such backups are controlled by the platform, not an Afsanora cloud-save service.
6. Sharing and selling information
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We do not upload your local game saves to third parties. Support messages and website requests may be processed by the service providers described above. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect the security and legal rights of our users or services.
7. Your choices and deletion
You can change sound, vibration and motion preferences inside the game. You can remove locally stored game data through Android’s app storage controls or by uninstalling the game; doing so may permanently remove your progress. Manage any system backups separately in your device or account settings.
There is no Pathora account to delete. For information you have sent us directly, or to exercise privacy rights available under applicable law, email pathora@afsanora.com. Depending on your location, those rights may include access, correction, deletion or objection to certain processing.
8. Children’s privacy
The current game has no in-game registration, chat, advertising or enabled analytics. We do not knowingly ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through a support message, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
9. Security and changes
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the information we handle, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. If future versions introduce accounts, analytics, advertisements, online competition or other changes to data handling, we will update this policy and provide any notices or choices required before that processing begins.
